Our 40th anniversary of Star Trek: The Motion Picture celebration continues as the Treksperts sit down with Eddie Egan who not only helped launch Star Trek: The Motion Picture for Paramount in 1979 but was Unit Publicist for Star Trek ll: The Wrath of Khan and Star Trek III: The Search for Spock and went onto a legendary career in Hollywood publicity and promotion for virtually every major studio in the business (but not the flooring business as we learned). Now, Egan joins the Treksperts and special guest Robert Meyer Burnett (director, Free Enterprise) to share his incredible true stories about marketing Star Trek as well as the secretive Wrath of Khan prequel, Prison Planet, that never got made.
